Jan 11: Yet another trip to WallMart to get the super ant poison. We found that the liquid bait works. We put the dog in a kennel and spent the day in downtown San Antonio. Riverwalk is great but they had drained the river for maintenance. The so-called craft market was a disapointment. We had a dog free night.

Art has always been a passion of mine. Now that I am retired I feel so fortunate that I can more fully indulge this passion and share it with others. I've played with art most of my life, but have not had a formal art education. I suppose my practical side thought that it was just a hobby and certainly too frivalous to pursue. Boy, was I wrong! Now I am making up for lost time and taking myself seriously as an artist. I show my work locally and have won some awards. Whenever I can I take art classes and workshops from wonderful artists. I have learned so much from them.
